Individuals eligible for appointment to the board fulfil the following criteria:
▪ hold a post-graduate degree (M or D level)
▪ member of a professional association for healthcare chaplains
▪ experienced practitioner in health care chaplaincy
▪ active involvement in a Higher Education Institution (holding honorary lecturer status or equivalent)
▪ experience of training students in chaplaincy
Vacancies on the Board will be publicised by the professional associations of healthcare chaplaincy and appointments made by the Selection Panel.
