CAAB has produced the first edition of a CPD portfolio for chaplains. The portfolio contains a range of material to support chaplains in meeting (1) the expectations of CPD by the professional associations of chaplaincy, and (2) the requirements of the development review process for the NHS KSF. The portfolio also contains guidance and information for chaplains and their managers to assist them in understanding the learning and development activities of chaplains and the sources of evidence that may be used.
Part of the good practice in CPD that CAAB is promoting among chaplains is to complete an annual summary of CPD activity. The summary is a useful contribution to the CPD portfolio and it can be voluntarily registered with CAAB as a record of CPD points acquired. For the current period the Annual Summary form can be downloaded from this page and submitted to CAAB by post or emailed via this website. Forms should be submitted for the 2007 period no later than 31st January 2008
